Also worth mentioning - the XC has a 9 lb recoil spring in it. I believe the stock spring was 8 lbs. Although I haven't had a single malfunction with it, I did notice the slide hesitating when feeding flat-nosed and HP ammo. I objectively love my C2. I have a bit of experience with firearms and have carried used several flavors. I am not saying the C2 is the best 2011 but I will say it is my favorite 2011 to carry and it is the gun I chose over a Wilson 1911, Wilson edcx9, Glock 21 (non fancy custom) Nighthawk.
