I just tried 8 trips to test out Mage+Range, vs just using the bowfa ( 4 trips each ). Keep in mind that this is with 96 range, 99 mage, no cox prayers, and I also only used monkfish and karambwans. I expect the average trips to go up by 1-2 with manta rays once I get a bigger supply.

Bowfa only zulrah is so chill there is no way I'd take bp + mage switch over bowfa ever. For inferno I only use bp on bats, blobs and rangers. You definately don't need it there though, bowfa is more important than BP. But since bowfa zulrah is so super chill you mifht aswell go and get a bp.

Bowfa is a long enough grind without making it 10x longer with deaths and slow clears. Maybe greenlog Perilous Moons, do slayer until trident, then TOA for Fang.
