Hello, I have a 2005 f150 5.4l 3v. Truck cranks but wont start. I checked fuel pressure with key on engine off, and its about 36-40 psi. It seems to be flooding itself. I pulled all the spark plugs and cleaned them. Cranked the truck fired right up ran for 3-5 seconds and then died, wont re start. Or I turn it over twice, then turn key off then it start right up. That's easy to test. Pull the line and have someone turn the key while you hold the end over a bucket. The instant the key is turned you should have pressure. The only reason there would be 'lag' would be if the truck sat long enough for the pressure to bleed off.
