I know lead wfn are better but like for the 480 Ruger, theres only 4 types of ammo for it. One Hornady xtp hollow point and two Buffalo Bore and one Grizzly cartridge Lead WFN. They're expensive so I was wondering how good the Hornady XTP hollow points are on bears. I got a box of 410 grain Buffalo Bore lead WFN though.But I have it in 10mm. I chose the 220gr hard cast Buffalo Bore in my G20 now. To be fair, my hiking is with the black bears to the east. When hiking in the Appalachians with my family, especially during times when cubs may be around, I have both the bear spray and G20.
