By using both power switch or manual mode, the door closes but 2 second later, it pops out of its rear latch, causing the door indicator to light up. When put in drive or reverse, you hear a beeping sound.The slide door light indicates a stored code for the doors. If the slide door light is still on then you can jump the #4 and #9 pins of the DLC and then turn on the key to read the codes on the dash. It will tell you where to start looking. Not quite clear what you mean by letting loose of the door, but it is very easy to convert the power door to a manual one, I did it recently on my '07. I'm assuming that your side rollers are in good shape. IF that is the case, open the door manually, and detach the cables from the rollers.I have a door open indicator on the dash that is on. I can not close the door electrically or manually. When I pull the handle, the cable does not release the mechanism at the rear post. I have several hours into the project, and now, looking for some additional knowledge. So weird, I just cleaned the battery posts, and now the door will not close.
