Comparing a lot of weapons to bloodhounds fang has the same effect. Fang is simply a solid weapon the whole game through, with good poise damage, a unique and very good art of war, and does all physical so it's always at least somewhat effective. Elenoras is a blast to use though, and if you learn it's spacing it can also be very effective.
I was using that whip with hoarfrost stomp and it was pretty solid for me. The bleed is nice. It did alright damage too. It's a good early to mid game pvp weapon with cold affinity. Eleonora's poleblade is very good. Dual curved swords with blood or occult scaling and using Jumping or Running+L1 attacks is considered very strong. Personally my main has been using Reduvia and Occult Great Knife since the start of my first play thru and I have 0 complaints except for how short the range of the rolling L1 is.The powerstance combo chain makes me feel like a blender.
