It is very likely the receiver in the hub thats bent from misalignment, this will have to be fixed to make the speedo cable spin. A quick check is to remove the cable from the hub and spin with your fingers while looking for movement on the speedo needle. If it moves, your problem is in the hub. If it dont move, it may be you cable.

It runs good at highway speeds but when getting going it sometimes hesitates/stumbles when I give it just a little throttle. It just reduces voltage to the igniter to turn it on.
