That works out to a 1.6% chance of Stomp-ees from any given nightfall and a 5% chance from a leg lost sector. If you're only after a few very specific exotics, then lost sectors are far and away the best option, it's not even a contest.

For this example I wanted the Phoenix Cradle. They are the only exotic Titan boots I do not currently have. Upon a completion it gave me Dunarchers which I'm positive I already have. I've been getting repeats of exotics although I do not have them all. My understanding is that it will give you an exotic not currently in your collection.
