I disagree with the sentiment that the LBG special is lacking compared to the HBG specials. The mines well placed can net hundreds of damage many times in almost every fight while being on a far more mobile weapon. As for rapid being so LBG can compete DPS wise I would disagree with that too. I feel this was just a poor design choice. it looks like OP is using crit eye in leiu of WEX. its kind of difficult to say for sure if thats a good idea, bc theres several factors to consider. Don't look at the numbers when testing a build. Establish test monsters. My easy test monster is Rathian. Complete a hunt from start to finish and compare clear times. You're using Pierce LBG so 20 damage is great. You're hitting for damage multiple times on a pierce shot and basically machine gunning.
