PF2's take on the bard doesn't fit as cleanly into this concept as PF1's did and it's got the extra mechanical problem of having one routine that's so good you don't really want to do anything else so it's definitely a lot less compelling than most of the other classes to me.

However, the bard at my table is happy to fire tons of magic missiles, as they are virtually inevitable damage. Just keep in mind that, unlike D&D 5e, bards in PF2 are full casters. They don't get the capability to really impact things in melee combat unless you pick up some form of archetype.

Gonna play PF2 soon, but I will start at Lvl 9. I'm new to the system, only played the Playtest once. Instead of a magic Weapon, I can choose another magic item useful for a Bard, if I like, but I'm clueless. Please give me some recommendations here! Thanks!
