I only have 3100 miles on my 1800 but will change about 5000 miles after this change. And was recommended to use 5w40. As I read on and on about this and that I am learning that the 04 VTX1300C that I just bought 3weeks ago my have only fouled plugs from over choaking and the fact that I topped it off with high octaine gas on my way home with it.
