Have been having a nightmare with my 2007 lbz. Truck has 155k and has been flawless. One day blew the p0090 Code. Took it to a reputable shop and had a couple weak injectors they wanted to fix first . they put in a new fuel pressure regulator and truck ran good for 600 miles. Jan 23, 2012 · P0089 and P0090 FOUND IT!! The connector to the fuel rail regulator had a wire pushed out!!! The way it works is the computer LOWERS the fuel pressure. So an open circuit doesnt signal the solenoid to lower the fuel pressure. pressure was maxed out, over 20000 mpa. ran like crap. made funny metalic noise too. P0045 code. I got a P0045 CODE on my 2004.5. Truck is all stock. Where is the turbo vane position sensor at, and also where is the solenoid? Thanks. EGR delete by my definition is complete removal of system components which is a highly invasive and unnecessary procedure. It also requires ECM programming to deal with the DTC’s associated with removal of the EGR motor. Essentially an EGR delete removes the EGR valve/motor assembly along with the EGR cooler etc.
