Now pures can do corrupted gauntlet. But it's so much harder than the same account with a decent defence level. The only difference between 1 def and 65 def is piety/rigor/augury as it adds more dps. Defense does nothing in gauntlet otherwise as if you miss a prayer on hunleff you’re getting smacked regardless of defense level.Staff has a higher overall dps up until max stats. Even if you can woox walk you would still need 90+ melee stats to even compare to base 80 magic and just 5:1 staff.
