Jan 24, 2018 · I went in to have my membranes stripped early in the morning at 2cm and by midnight I was having contractions 6-8min apart. I did do some walking and ate spicy food through out the day. By 3am I was at the hospital 5cm dilated. They had me walk for an hour in the hall to get me to 6cm then I was admitted :) I have been at 1.5 cm since 28 weeks and am now 33 weeks. I’ve gone from 50 % to 75% effaced over the last couple of weeks. You can basically hang out for months.
