7mm and 243 will let you kill 90% of all species with ease. 243 works on coyotes and lynx, and lots of deer species. 7mm works on black bear and elk, and if you're good it could work for moose and grizz. Yukon is my favorite map. Favorite weapon pack is a toss up between 1 and 3. The 22 pistol in 3 is handy, but you get a 22 and the crossbow in 1. Yukon because of the .300 rifle, smoking barrels weapon pack and the ATV saber 4x4 dlc. Silver Ridge is good for animals, but Rancho and Cuatro are my favorite maps overall.

The northwest area of the map in particular. There's a small lake in that area with a point that juts out into the lake with a permanent stand. Drink zone every 150m. Got a diamond pretty quickly and working on GO. If you want to grind for a GO definitely Rancho, they are only at 8 lakes so finding all the drinking zones is easy. They eat 4am til 7.30 now and since I've been checking for red deer zones (which now drink 6-10am instead of 5.30-9.30) I haven't seen one roe deer drinking so it can't be between 6 and 10 unless they don't drink anywhere near any red deer.The African map has a fantastic set of missions, culminating in the ghost wolf mission, which is truly wonderful. Depending on what you’re hunting, if it’s a low level animal, just leave it. It causes more trouble than good trying to constantly find it again. For red deer I shoot them if they are 6+ but leave them below.
