Stock Predator engines (all of them) top out at ~3600 RPMs. Removing the governor on a 212 will allow it to rev till it hits valve float which is ~5500 RPMs. That is a huge difference! It is the single best upgrade you can do to a go kart. If you update the carb and exhaust you will be able to hit your max RPM faster.Just having more power doesn't mean you'll have more top speed. What having more power can do is let you run taller gearing since the engine will have the power to pull through it. The Tillotson 212E won't work with your headlight.
