Pre-bug, they become inaccessible after the Starborn exit, but the ship stays on the ground no matter what. Apparently, these things were supposed to fly off after dropping off Starborn. The mod fixed this for me, and it is quite something to watch a Starborn ship come down, drop Starborn off, then fly off at high speed.
