Aug 12, 2016. #5. I have been experiencing the exact same issue. Well, I just figured it out and now it steers real easy. There is a screw on the starboard side of the pivot housing. It start quickly and work well. Then it begin to be a little erratic at idle, but still ok. It run very well above 2000 rpms, but if you stay between 1000 and 2000 for a while it begin to loose power and stall. I changed the IAC valve but the problem persist. Could it be the MAP or TPS.
