Hi Guys-. I just bought a used 2010 Polaris Ranger 800 EFI. We put about 10 miles on the machine and had just filled it up with gas (93 Octane Ethanol-Free, poured from a gas can that was bone-dry). I drove the machine around my yard one time and stopped to pick up a passenger. The machine bogged down and died. Book says 0.4 ohms.I believe the 2018 do, and I know the 2019s like mine require brake pedal input to crank. It is possible that the switch or wiring to it might be malfunctioning. But it is a Series 10 (not listed as a Ranger, but under Ranger) A10RB42AA - I found a parts list for it and the service manual number is 9916586 (same manual for a 00, 01, 02 and 03 Diesel), but I do not have that manual. Remove one of the coils, from the spark plug. Use an extra spark plug. A spark plug tester. Or even a screwdriver, in the end of the coil. Ground it on a piece of metal on the engine. Finally, have someone crank the engine, and watch for a spark.
