It’s not going to happen. With the postal reform bill that passed it protected 6 day delivery for the next 10 year. I think 7 day mail delivery is more likely to happen than all regulars getting Saturday and Sunday off. With 7 day delivery at least there is a better chance of getting 2 consecutive days off.

They’ll start in February 2023. In 2019 they opened negotiations ~3 months before the contract expired. Then it takes them a year to implement it somehow. Every other union can push through negotiations and get a new contract in an efficient manner.
