Early on you're limited to ursus and maple tour (and whatever weekly boss crystals you can get). I got enough range to 1-shot Chu chu with almost entirely epic 9% (and 60+ flame) gear which only costs ~40m per equip.

My weakest gear is 24% with most of my gear being 27-30%. I also have heart and badge. My legion is 4.5k, my af is 800 and my flames seem to be similar to his.
