The key to win are Fians, they have many arrows, deal high dmg in large groups, and also they can fight in melee with 2h long swords or falxes, what ever they have. It seems battania is low on every type of unit that isn't infantry in villages. I want lots of cavalry and archers but the only way I currently get them is through forest bandits which takes ages.
